Andrew Forbes gives the world premiere performance of Edwin Hillier’s Hyphae, for organ and electronics, at the Royal Musicological Association annual conference. The piece explores saturation of the timbral space, and draws inspiration from the natural process of endogeny; organic growth from within. Andrew plays the 2017 Aubertin organ of King’s Hall at Newcastle University.
